Best Buy is offering Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, a $30 reduction from its listed $69.99 price. The deal also includes one month of Xbox Game Pass, which the source values at $22.99; the promotion’s end date and eligibility details are not provided.
Best Buy is selling Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $39.99, down from $69.99, and the deal includes one month of Xbox Game Pass, according to The Ambient. The discount makes the 4K streaming device a lower-cost way to add streaming apps to a television with an HDMI port, though the report does not state when the offer ends or whether it has purchase restrictions.
The price cut is $30, or about 43% off the $69.99 price cited in the report. The Ambient values the included Game Pass month at $22.99. That is the reported value of the subscription month, not a cash discount on the device, and the source does not detail how the subscription is redeemed or what happens when the month expires.
Amazon released the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus in 2025, according to The Ambient. Its listed features include 4K streaming, Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, along with Dolby Atmos support for compatible audio equipment. The stick connects to a TV through HDMI; a television without an available HDMI port cannot use it as described.
The device runs Amazon’s Fire TV interface and supports Alexa voice search through its remote. The Ambient says viewers can search across services including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Max, although access to subscription services generally requires the relevant accounts. The report also points to free, ad-supported options such as Tubi, Pluto TV and Fire TV Channels. It does not say that paid subscriptions are included with the $39.99 purchase, apart from the stated Game Pass month.
A Lower-Cost Route to 4K Streaming
For people using an older television with HDMI, a streaming stick can add app-based viewing without replacing the screen. At $39.99, this offer puts a 4K-capable device below the reported regular price, while the bundled Game Pass month may appeal to buyers who already use Microsoft’s gaming service or want to try it.
The feature list should not be read as a guarantee that every viewer will see or hear each format. 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos depend on compatible equipment and content; a TV or sound system that lacks the relevant support will not reproduce those formats. Streaming quality also depends on internet service and network conditions, even with Wi-Fi 6 support.
Game Pass is a subscription service, and the report does not establish that the Fire TV Stick itself includes a controller or a lasting game subscription. The Ambient says Xbox cloud gaming is supported with Game Pass Ultimate and a controller. Buyers should treat the included month as a limited subscription offer, not as permanent access to games or a substitute for checking the service’s terms.

What the Stick Adds to a TV
A streaming stick uses a television’s HDMI connection to provide a separate smart-TV interface. The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus combines that interface with Amazon’s Alexa functions, allowing users to search for content by voice and use the remote to control TV power and volume, as described in The Ambient’s report. Alexa features involving smart-home devices require compatible devices and setup.
The report describes this model as Amazon’s next-generation 4K stick, released in 2025, and highlights a quad-core 1.7GHz processor and Wi-Fi 6. Those are product specifications and feature claims; the source does not provide independent benchmark results comparing app speed or streaming reliability with other devices.
Its content options span paid streaming apps, free ad-supported services and cloud gaming. Availability can vary by location, account status and service terms. The stated deal is specifically a Best Buy price offer; the source does not establish that the same price or Game Pass bundle is available from Amazon or other retailers.
“The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is now $39.99, a 43% saving.”

Offer Terms and Compatibility
The source does not give an end date, stock status or eligibility terms for Best Buy’s offer. It also does not specify whether the Game Pass month is available to existing subscribers, how it is redeemed, which Game Pass tier is included, or whether a payment method is required after the promotional month.
Compatibility details matter before purchase. The report says the stick works with a TV that has HDMI, but does not list specific requirements for power, network setup or regional availability. It also does not provide independent testing of the advertised speed, picture quality or Wi-Fi performance. The quoted $22.99 subscription value is reported by The Ambient and may not match every buyer’s price or circumstances.
Check the Listing Before Buying
Readers interested in the offer should check Best Buy’s current product listing for live pricing, availability and bundle terms before ordering. Retail promotions can change, and the source provides no deadline. Buyers should confirm the Game Pass tier, redemption process and renewal conditions, as well as whether their TV and home network support the features they intend to use.
There is no further product announcement or scheduled milestone in the source material. The next confirmed development would be any change to Best Buy’s listing or additional detail from the retailer or Amazon; until then, the reported $39.99 price and one-month bundle describe the offer as reported, not a guarantee of continuing availability.
