ToolGuyd reports that Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool combo kit has returned for the 2026 holiday shopping season at $199. A two-tool version is also back at $149; the three-tool kit adds a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet, but availability and offer terms were not detailed in the report.
Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool cordless combo kit is back for the 2026 holiday shopping season at $199, according to tool publication ToolGuyd. The kit pairs a compact drill and impact driver with a 3/8-inch cordless ratchet, while a two-tool combo without the ratchet is also reported back at $149.
ToolGuyd says the three-tool package includes Milwaukee’s M12 compact brushless drill and compact brushless impact driver, plus an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The listed kit contents also include two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag. The source gives the model number as 3494-23R and the promotional price as $199.
The publication says the two-tool combo is $149. That makes the price difference between the reported offers $50, with the ratchet included in the larger package. These are prices reported by ToolGuyd; the supplied report does not identify a specific retailer, provide a direct product listing, or spell out any offer conditions.
ToolGuyd describes the drill and impact driver as compact brushless models and the ratchet as an older brushed design. It says the ratchet is less powerful and has fewer features than newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets, while presenting the brushed model as a lower-cost option. Those are the publication’s product assessments, not independently verified performance measurements.
The $50 Ratchet Trade-Off
For shoppers comparing the two reported bundles, the central decision is whether a cordless ratchet is worth $50 more than the two-tool kit. The three-tool option adds a specialized tool that can be useful for fastening work, while the lower-priced package keeps the purchase focused on drilling and driving.
ToolGuyd argues that the incremental price is low compared with buying a cordless ratchet separately. That is the publication’s value judgment; the article does not provide standalone prices, a retailer comparison, or a detailed test of the included ratchet. Buyers should weigh the bundle against their own needs and verify the current price and contents before purchasing.
The kits may also matter to shoppers who want a compact battery platform rather than full-size tools. The reported package includes two compact 2Ah batteries, though the source does not give runtime estimates or say whether those batteries meet every user’s workload.

Two M12 Bundles Return
The report frames the offer as a return of a holiday promotional combo, rather than a new tool launch. It says both the three-tool kit at $199 and the two-tool kit at $149 are back for the 2026 holiday shopping period. No earlier promotion dates or duration are supplied, so the scale or length of the return cannot be established from the report.
Milwaukee’s M12 line is a compact cordless tool platform, and the included drill, impact driver and ratchet serve different fastening and drilling tasks. The three-tool package combines two brushless tools with a brushed ratchet; ToolGuyd distinguishes it from newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets. The source does not list the exact specifications of the tools, battery compatibility details, or warranty terms.
ToolGuyd also says shoppers need not rush, writing that comparable deals generally do not sell out quickly and that more promotional combo kits are expected during the holiday season. That is the outlet’s outlook, not a guarantee about this offer’s stock or future pricing.

Retailer and Offer Terms Unspecified
The report does not name the retailer carrying the kits, provide a link to a live listing, or confirm current inventory and offer dates. It is therefore unclear where the prices apply, whether shipping or other conditions affect the final cost, and how long either promotion will remain available.
ToolGuyd’s statements about the ratchet’s value and the likelihood that the deals will not sell out quickly are editorial assessments. The source does not provide comparative pricing data or an inventory check. It also does not include independent testing, detailed tool specifications, or confirmation from Milwaukee about the promotion.
Check Listings Before Buying
Shoppers interested in either bundle should check a retailer’s current listing, stock status and final checkout price before placing an order. They can compare the listed contents and terms against ToolGuyd’s report, particularly to confirm the included ratchet model, batteries, charger and bag.
ToolGuyd expects more promotional combo kits during the holiday season, but does not identify specific future offers or dates. Whether these two prices continue, change or sell through remains dependent on retailer availability.
